Tours : les policiers municipaux ont levé leur préavis de grève pour la braderie

A l’origine de ce préavis de grève ? L’annonce du non-paiement des heures supplémentaires pour la braderie, dimanche 1er septembre.

A l’issue de leur rencontre avec le maire jeudi soir, les syndicats de policiers municipaux SNSP et CFDT ont eu la garantie que les heures supplémentaires de tous les agents travaillant dimanche seront payées.

Les policiers municipaux de Tours étaient en colère et l’avaient fait savoir, via un communiqué émanant du syndicat CFDT Interco 37 et du Syndicat national de la sécurité publique. Un préavis de grève avait été déposé lundi 26 août 2019.

En cause ? L’annonce du non-paiement des heures supplémentaires pour la braderie, dimanche 1er septembre. C’était pourtant le cas depuis plus de vingt ans, précise le communiqué.

« Le préavis concerne l’ensemble des policiers municipaux, ainsi que les agents du centre de supervision urbain de la ville de Tours », apprend-on. Soit quatre-vingts personnes mobilisées, la nuit pour enlever les véhicules et sécuriser le périmètre et, la journée de dimanche pour le filtrage du public, aux différentes entrées.

Les agents ont réellement l’impression que la municipalité cherche à faire des économies sur leur dos

Les représentants syndicaux poursuivent : « Les agents ont réellement l’impression que la municipalité cherche à faire des économies sur leur dos, et c’est donc la sécurité des citoyens qui se voit impactée ! »

D’autres revendications s’y ajoutent : l’amélioration du réseau radio, des plannings plus adaptés « aux besoins du terrain ou encore des équipements de sécurité ».« L’hémorragie des départs » est aussi au cœur de la problématique.

Hier, suite à l’accord trouvé, la Ville a réagi :  » Sur les revendications exprimées, la Ville de Tours souhaite préciser que le principe des heures supplémentaires n’a jamais été remis en cause pour les agents intervenant en dehors de leurs heures normales de service. (…) Un terrain d’entente a été trouvé, permettant aux policiers municipaux d’exercer leur métier le jour de la Braderie dans le même cadre que les années précédentes. »

Et d’ajouter :  » Les agents de la police municipale bénéficient depuis le début de l’année d’une
augmentation de leur régime indemnitaire. De même, pour la sécurité de nos concitoyens, des renforts de policiers sont prévus avec la création de 15 postes supplémentaires décidée lors du conseil municipal du 15 juillet dernier, ce qui portera les effectifs à 110 policiers municipaux. »
